How To Produce Batch Jobs

Turn the system into your personal assistant to produce a single print file or to e-mail each of your clients with a link to their period-specific reporting. To set it up:

1. Click on the "Batch Jobs" link in the "Control Center."

2. Select "Create New Batch Job."

3. Give the Batch Job a name (something meaningful to you) like "Key Clients Quarterly Statements" or something else similarly specific.

4. Chose "E-mail" or "Print."

The "E-mail" choice will send an e-mail from you to each of the clients listed in the Batch Job. Each e-mail will include a custom URL (Web address) that each client will click on to view their report. After clicking the link, each client will be prompted to enter their User Name and Password. They will then be presented with their report. Note: It is a good idea to make sure that you are familiar and comfortable with the system before using this e-mail option.

The "Print" choice will produce a single file that will contain reports for all of the clients you hve selected to be included the Batch Job. You can then send this file to a printer or you can save it to your computer for viewing/printing at a later time.

5. Choose a report period

6. We would recommend using a "Report Package" (since it ties many reports together).

7. Select the clients that you wish to include in the batch job (maximum of 25 clients.) You can quickly and easily create as many batch jobs as you need, if you would like to distribute reports to more than 25 clients.

8. Click on "Next."

9. Then choose a portfolio for each client from the portfolio drop-down list.

10. Click on the "Submit" button. ...and you are done! Pretty simple, and it will save you a tremendous amount of time!
